PLA Eastern Theater Command Conducts Long-Range Live-Fire Drills in Waters of East China Sea
東部戰(zhan)(zhan)區新聞發言人施毅陸(lu)軍大(da)校(xiao)表示，4月2日，中國人民解放(fang)軍東部戰(zhan)(zhan)區陸(lu)軍部隊，按照“海(hai)(hai)峽雷霆(ting)-2025A”演練計劃，位東海(hai)(hai)相關海(hai)(hai)域實施遠(yuan)程(cheng)火力實彈射擊(ji)演練，對重(zhong)要港口、能(neng)源設施等模擬(ni)目(mu)標進行精確打擊(ji)，取得了預期(qi)效果。
Senior Colonel Shi Yi, spokesperson of the PLA Eastern Theater Command, says that on April 2, the ground force of the theater command conducted long-range live-fire drills in waters of the East China Sea according to training plans of the “Strait Thunder-2025A” exercise. The drills involve precision strikes on simulated targets of key ports and energy facilities, and have achieved desired effects.

東部戰區(qu)新(xin)聞發言人施(shi)毅陸(lu)軍大校表示，4月2日，中國人民解放(fang)軍東部戰區(qu)組織(zhi)山東艦航母編隊(dui)位臺(tai)島以東海(hai)(hai)空(kong)域，與(yu)海(hai)(hai)空(kong)兵(bing)力(li)進行艦機協同(tong)、區(qu)域制(zhi)空(kong)、對海(hai)(hai)對陸(lu)打擊(ji)等科目演練，重點(dian)檢驗(yan)內線外線一體聯(lian)動、立體封控和諸軍兵(bing)種聯(lian)合作戰能力(li)。
Senior Colonel Shi Yi, spokesperson of the PLA Eastern Theater Command, says that on April 2, the Eastern Theater Command employed Shandong aircraft carrier task group, in coordination with naval and air units, in conducting military drills in areas to the east of Taiwan Island. The exercises included subjects of vessel-aircraft coordination, seizure of area air superiority, and strike on ground and maritime targets so as to evaluate the troops’ capabilities of integrated operations inside and outside the island chain, multi-dimensional blockade and control, and joint operations of multiple services.
